“Trash” Sacks–A Treasure

Posted on April 13, 2012 by kejohns323 Posted in Lifestyle, Style, Uncategorized .

Two themes seem to dominate today’s consumer culture: eco-friendly and charity. Many companies are manufacturing products with recycled material or supporting a charitable cause with every purchase. It’s no different with Rac Sacks. However, this company sticks out in that it embraces both themes in a special way. The “rac” in Rac Sacks roughly translates to “trash” in Vietnamese. From abandoned material in the streets, Rac Sacks creates one-of-a-kind bags. This company is also a great benefit to the local economy of Saigon. The bag designer actually lives there, and has control over the factories from which these products are made. Rac Sack factories are of more suitable quality and workers are paid better compared to other companies that make products overseas.

Different style bags come in one of two materials: colorful, artistic recycled feedbags or rubber tires. Only a few are available for purchase directly from the website, but more are available at stores in Oregon, New Mexico, Idaho, and Washington.

You’ll treasure your Rac Sack. They’re of unique quality and great price. They come from a company who does the most good for the international community as they create neat, fashionable items from rubbish and give good work to those who need it.
