YA is not my normal genre. I often find it frustrating, and just plain irritating, however this book was such a cute one. I did not know what to expect with this book, I expected to get easily irritated by the main character, Cath and to be so frustrated with the immaturity of the book (just from the title of course). I am happy to say neither of these things happened. I found this a sort of walk down college memory lane. As a writer, I could totally relate to Cath in my own way. We all go through things in college, and now that I have been out of that for such a long time, it was nice to sort of think of the memories I had from that time in my life.
The story was wonderfully paced, and I liked how the different parts of the college experience were portrayed. Reagan was actually a fun bitchy character, Levi was funny and Wren was just a great foil to her sister. My only complaint was the length of the book. I do not think it needed to be over 400 pages, but I did enjoy all the little things, from the fun to the serious. Rainbow Rowell created a great set of characters, and a really nice story. I would read another book by this author in the future.
